For so long, I have been eyeing canon cameras and have been trying to save up for one but it is extremely hard. but ive decided on one that I think will suit me nicely and quite well priced for a canon :)

Isn't it a beauty? it is currently on sale for $398.99. I hope to save up for it and get it in the next 3 weeks. Really wanted it for all the halloween parties but that is quite impossible...I will let you all know how that goes :)

Good morning from Seattle, WA!

So as some of you may know I am currently in seattle,wa for a few weeks now and have done loads shopping....as well as eating (:

I will be doing my collective haul video when I get back next week and have tons of things to show you all! I feel like I haven't made a video in ages so i'm excited about it! BUT for now, here is just a little sneak peak of just SOME, not all, of the things i've purchased.

We ate at the ever so amazing space needle restaurant! it was an amazing experience and i'm so glad we went! not to mention, the food was DELISH!

This was really good but could have done without the marcona almonds!

Slow-Braised Northwest Grown Beef Shortribs-
Coffee brined and slowly braised with cocoa and red wine, summer squash hash, tempura zucchini blossom

This was quite tastey, never really eaten shortribs before but it was pretty good :)

Togarashi Crusted Ahi Tuna-
Seared rare, Oregon grown wasabi mashed potatoes, wilted spinach, grilled Maui pineapple

This was my least favorite! I just don't really enjoy raw fish. The only time I like it/stand it, is in Sushi. I also hate the taste of wasabi and the mashed potatoes had wasabi in it and it tasted awful to me

Prime Double R Ranch Signature Northwest Beef
with potatoes, seasonal vegetables and red wine sauce

THIS had to be my favorite...the steak was soooo juicy and tender and just pure amazingness! The potatoes and veggies were delicious as well. everything about it was perfection.

Rich chocolate and vanilla bean ice cream

The ice cream was aaaamazing. We all shared this but I definitely ate most of it! and it looked so cool! they poored warm water on the dry ice which caused this reaction and it lasted most the time while were eating the icecream (:

If you are ever in Seattle I definitely reccommend going here for dinner. You won't regret it!

Hi everyone! I know it's been so so long since i've truely blogged! I know it seems like i've neglected this blog after starting youtube but really, way before. There aren't a ton of excuses besides the hectic lifestyle of a college student, pure laziness, and the fact that I just wasn't inspired to blog for the longest time. BUT as of now, i've been feeling inspired so i've decided to get back into the swing of things and start blogging as well as contninue youtube! I can't promise long posts every single day, but I want to try to make it a regular weekly thing. SO that being said, I will blog every few days and update you on my youtube video posts as well. Hope you're all doing well and i've honestly missed reading all of your blogs! I can't wait to catch up on all the readings :)
I know everyone has probably forgetten all about me and I don't blame you! ive been gone so long, but so long as there is at least one person reading, I will continue to blog :)

Halloween and hauls!

Happy late late halloween everyone! I knows its been too long since I've blogged but i'm just a busy bee! managed to find a little time on this lazy sunday afternoon so I thought i'd do a quick post! ive had too many hauls since my last post that I cant even remember what i've bought but will try to show you some of the new things ive gotten!

mini Victoria's Secret bikini haul

Today I finally had some time to blog so I thought I'd share with you my new bikinis! I recently ordered them from Victoria's secret and I loovvveee their bathing suits. They have a HUGE variety and many at affordable prices. They always have a big sale selection with so many styles. So all of these bikinis were on sale when I got them and i'm pretty sure they still have them just in case you may want to get it :)

ok! the first one is a coral/peach bikini. The top is a bandeau style with a seashell accessory right in the middle. It also comes with a removable haulter string and the bottoms are low-rise.

next bikini, is pretty much exacly like the above one, except different colors and different accessory. The bandeau top is white with an aqua heart in the middle, with a removeable haulter string, and aqua low-rise bottoms. I am so in love with the white and aqua colors together!

Hello my lovely readers!
I'm terribly sorry i'm not blogging as much and haven't been able to reply to comments, but I have been so busy with looking for a job and figuring out my fall schedule for school! It's just been so hectic but......I FINALLY FOUND A JOB!! ahh i'm sooo happy i've finally found a job. I have been wanting to move out of the house for quite some time now, and now that I will actually have a job I can save up to do so. My plan is to move out at the end of September or early to mid October. I'm so nervous though because i've never had a job before and I have never lived on my own. But there comes a time when a person needs to live on their own and learn to be responsible and independent and I think that is well over-due for me! haha. But I did finally manage to find a pretty well paying job. I can tell it's going to be a hectic job though...but anyway I just thought i'd share my exciting news with you :) but this is not what this post is mainly about! This post is dedicated to my current absolute favorites!

So lately, I find myself grabbing for these products just about every single day. Sometimes it can be hard for me to find products that I like and can actually use because my skin is so sensitive. So here are just a few that I love and can use :)

NARS penny lane cream blush

I am lovvvving this cream blusher. At first I was skeptical about cream blushes but after I tried this I LOVE IT.. The color is so gorgeous and it is perfect for any look you are going for, whether you're going for the neutral or smokey look. It is a neutral pink color and applies on very smoothly over my tinted moisturizer. It has just a bit of shine to it when applied which I LOVE. I use my fingers to apply it which I find gives me more control. I tried using it with a sythetic fiber brush but I didn't like applying it that way...but it could be because the brush was just too big!

Mac blacktrack fluidline

I have nothing but great things to say about this gel liner! it's simply amazing! I've used this product for over 2 years and I am on my second jar! It lasts so so long even when you use it everyday! My first one lasted for a year and I used it every single day. However, I find that it works best on my top eyelid only. I don't care to use on my lower lid. The staying power is INCREDIBLE! I applied it at 11 am and it stayed on all day until I had to take it off at around midnight because I was going to sleep! it doesn't really get flaky like other gel liners do and the price is pretty good-only $14.50 I believe? If you're looking for a gel liner, GET THIS. you won't regret it.

Benefit badgal lash mascara

I usually use covergirl lashbast, which is my all time favorite mascara, but I ran out of it so I saw this benefit mascara laying around so I thought i'd give it a go. It lengthens pretty well and lasts all day! Even though I find myself liking this mascara alot, I don't think I could ever replace it for my covergirl lashblast....but it is a pretty good alternative until I get another tube of lashblas :)

Urban Decay eyeshadows in 'YDK' and 'midnight cowboy rides again'

Urban decay is my FAVORITE brand to get eyeshadows simply because they have such a big and gorgeous range, they are all very pigmented, and of course, their packaging is always SUPER cute (; I love love LOVE these two colors, especially YDK. I have been on a loooong search for this exact color. It is the perfect shimmery bronzey-champagne color and the little golden flecks give it the shimmer effect. I use this color for my everday look and I will be using it a million times more and will be repurchasing it as soon as I run out :) Along with this, I use midnight cowboy rides again in my inner corner right over the YDK eyeshadow. Since it is lighter than YDK is blends nicely together since they are in the same family of colors! What can I say, i'm a sucker for shimmery eyeshadows!

here, I am wearing YDK and midnight cowboy ride again-and also benefit's badgal mascara! :)

and lastly!,

Almay bright eye collection cream eyeshadow

For a drug store brand, Almay is pretty great-I have a couple of their things and I'd have to say that this cream show and their concealer is AMAZING! As you can see though, I am just about completely out of the light beigey-cream colored cream shadow. I use it under my powder eyeshadow and it goes so great with it. It has lasted me quite some time too. Since I ran out of it, I began using the light brown color and I'd have it is quite lovely as well :)

kiwiberry1-collection circle lens review!

Hello all! so since my last post I have worn the geo super nudy grey lenses and I must say that they get a bit uncomfortable. It was a tad difficult getting them into my eye because they stung and it kept shifting to the top of my eyes, making me lose them and they would stick to my eye and I couldn't move it around. Have any of you circle lens wearers experienced this problem with the geo super nudy collection? well they started out wonderful but everytime after that I would have some sort of problem. By the 6th or 7th hour they get really dry and its hard for me to blink because it aches a little. but it may just be me? idk. they also kept shifting around making my vision blurry. but anywho other than that I still like them...just a few minor glitches that I will just have to get over.

Anyway! another circle lens review for you guys! kiwiberry1-collection was so kind as to send me circle lenses to review!

Aqua M303-A M-type series 3-tone collection

I must say I am loovvvviiinggg these!

♥Comfort-wise:
they are beyond comfortable. And as a I said before, I am an avid perscription lens (since middle school) wearer so I know how contact lenses feel. These are amazingly comfortable and they are just as comfortable as my acuvue oasis! They don't dry out my eyes, it was super easy to put in-no burning sensation, and they don't shift around in my eyes. yesterday I wore them for 7 hours and had absolutely no problems with them.

♥Color-wise-
I loveee the color! They have teal and turquoise color to them and it is gorgeous! theyre my favorite colors! the only down-side i'd have to say is that the teal/turquoise color shows up WAY better in pictures. In person it is more of a green color. Don't get me wrong though-still a beautiful color.

♥Englargement-wise
Obviously they are not as big as the geo super nudy collection since the super nudies are 14.5 mm and these are 14.0 mm. I only wish they were a tad bit bigger because these feel just slighly bigger than normal lenses.

If you're looking for something more natural, then these are it!♥

Geo super nudy grey circle lens review + bang trim!

yes, I got a bang trim as you can see from the pictures! not sure If I like it or not but it will take some time getting used to it...the hairstylist didnt listen to ANYTHING I said when I explained to him what I wanted...it was just a bad experience-thats why I always wait so long to get a haircut, because I dread the possiblity of it turning out terrible! but ANYWHO!

Today I'm going to be reviewing a pair of circle lenses that I recently purchased!

comes in glass vials and bubble wrapped all around.

I got the Geo Super Nudy Grey lenses. These enlarge your eyes VERY well and give you a very dolly-eye look. The only bad this about them is they look a tad fake since I was looking for something more natural. Comfort-wise they are veryy comfortable for circle lenses. Obviously they are not going to be as comfortable as regular contact lenses, but maybe that's just me? At first when I put them in, it is a little blurry and is uncomfortable but I just blink a few times and they are perfectly fine. It is recommended that you only wear them for no more than 6 hours? but like an idiot I thought it would be fine to wear them just a little longer, and they began irritate my eyes and ache a little after 7 hours or so. So listen to them when they say to only wear them for the recommended hours!! But I did fall asleep wearing them and slept for 3-4 hours and woke up and they were perfectly fine-no blurry vision and no dry eyes.

they also came with a free lens case♥ I think every circle lens store does that though?

just scratch the area that says to do so and type it into this website- to make sure that they are authentic

Shipping took exactly 13 days and on the website it will take no more than 14 days so they were good on their word. All in all, I would recommend these lenses if you are looking for that super big dolly eye look soI give the lens 8.5 out of 10.

Ok, you should all know by now that when you receive your circle lenses you should NEVER wear them right away. It is very harmful for your eyes to do that and you should never take that risk. They must be disinfected for 8 hours. I use the AOSEPT disinfecting solution for this task. It is not a regular salene solution so do nottt use it as a reg. contact solution or it will be very painful and burn your eyes. After they have been disinfected them for 8 hours, use a regular contact solution on them and then you can wear them. I recommend AOSEPT-alot of contact lens wearers use this, especially for circle lenses to disinfect them. I got mine from my local Albertson's (grocer/drug store) but you can get it at any Walmart, CVS, or Walgreens. At Walmart, they are only $8-9 and at cvs and walgreens it is $9-10. But mine cost $11.99 since I got it from Alberton's-and if you all know Albertson's, then you know everything there is overpriced.

this is what you use to disinfect your lenses. You twist it open, take it out, pop open the side caps, put your lenses in, and fill it up to the line and twist it shut tightly and you will start to see it working :) it is very easy to use, so you should have no problems.

Hello all! :)

yes, i wouldn't be surprised if you've forgotten about me! it's definitely been too too long and i've missed blogging! I've just been enjoying summer and all and recently been helping my boyfriend move into his new house! so exciting! haha but anywho, of course i've come back with a collective haul! :) I know I do too many haul posts and I hope it doesn't bore you! I'll be sure to have a variety of upcoming posts and hopefully not just hauls hauls hauls. but for now, here is my collective haul so enjoy :)

Outfit Post!♥♥ +organic shampoo

Anyone use or heard of organic shampoo?? Well, ever since I went to Vietnam back In December/January my hair was constantly falling out! in the shower, randomly everywhere really! and it was worrying me like crazy! so I thought it was possibly the shampoo I was using, which was 'Aussie' but when I switched, it still continued to fall out. So my hair was getting thinner and was driving me mad! i'd walk around the house and see a piece of hair falling out! but then about a few weeks ago I was complaining to my boyfriend about my problem and he then told me it was because the shampoos I use have SULFATE in it. now I haven't done alot of research on this (I will asap) but the sulfate in the shampoo was causing my hair to fall out/become thin and brittle! and just about ALL shampoos have sulfate in it :/ so my bf then told me that I needed to buy organic shampoo. Organic shampoo is SULFATE-FREE and you'll know it because it says so on the bottle. So i've started to use Oranix's organic shampoo that is sulfate free! and tbh, my hair has definitely been falling out alot LESS! yayy. im so relieved...because it was really scaring me that my hair has been falling out :( now, this brand may not be the BEST of the best, but it will do for now!

Haul lovin'...+ Festival!

Hello lovely!
weekend was so much fun!-my boyfriend took me to the arts and jazz festival-they have it annually in this town. and each time, it lasts for 3 days! The first day the festival opened, we went at night. we got there and listened to the live music and ate a HUGE corndog and had fresh squeezed lemonade (: after a little while, we left. I was kind of wanting to get more food because the food there is sooooo good omggg...but can get pricey. The corndog I had was $5. a little pricey but not TOO terrible since it was pretty big. Anyway, as we left I asked my boyfriend if we could come back the next day and eat all of the yummy foods and he agreed hehe so the next day we went with some of his friends and it was sooo packed!!! even more than the night before (and the night before it was really packed -_-) people were everywhereee. It was hot too :( but then I got a fried twinkie..haha never had it before...it was ok but bf said he's had way better! then I got another corndog....ahahah I couldn't stop eating the corndogs..*sigh* all the hard workout for nothing. then we went and looked around and sat and just watched the fest :) then went home :) it was so fun but so exhausting. we then went home and passed out LOL then I asked my bf if we could go again the next day and he said "of course, if you want to go." he's so sweet to me. He'd go 3 days in a row just for me hehe (: but then I told him I was only joking and that I myself was too drained for another day and he looked a little relieved. hahah he really hates super crowded places. who doesn't? I sure do!

&&.sadly enough, I didn't take ANY pictures of the festival...i have NO idea why. I just forgot I guess :( oh well..theres always next year. anddd the state fair is coming in the fall! :D

hello alllll :)

been a little busy again of course but nothing too crazy... boyfriend had to get root canal and was all drugged up from the meds the doctors gave him so he was in and out and loopy and slept alottttt so i've been taking care of him haha hmmm...got a gym membership at LA Fitness a few weeks ago and I loveeeeee it! took me so long to push myself to start working out again but now that i finally have I love working out!!...I love that gym so much because they offer alot of workout classes :D I always take an aerobics bootcamp once a week for an hour-such a good workout! I sweat like crazy!! then they offer yoga and pilates! haven't tried it yet but i'm going to next week! never done yoga or pilates before O_o heard it was a good workout though...anyone ever done it?? anyway..I just run on the treadmill and do the elliptical machine when I don't do the workout classes haha haven't worked my way around all the machines yet lolll. but yes, I love being able to feel good about myself! I feel like back then I ate way too much bad foods...like fast food, greasy foods,junk foot etc. all the time! I've also cut out sodas and i'm glad!!

oyyyyyyy I feel like ranting up the whazooo! but I won't...at least not too much (:

has it really been nearly a month since my last post?! im terribly sorry but i've just been so distracted with...life. mainly exams of course! I've already had about 10 exams since my last post! but good news is I did really good on all of them because I pull all nighters haha and now I pay the price by looking quite haggard LOL. Weekends are relax &/or party days haha so yah.......I hadn't had a drink since back in AUGUST! yes I know that way over 7 months! i'm not much of a drinker/party girl because it's exhausting and the mere fact that I can't STAND the taste of liquor-it makes my stomach twirl a million times! but yes, when I DO party I tend to over do it...as in I just don't know when to stop drinking haha but everyone says i'm a million times more sociable and really outgoing lol. so yah last Friday me and my bf went to his friend's house and had a mini party. (I prefer house parties/mini get togethers rather than a clubs! is that weird?! haha) anyway, we did IRISH CAR BOMBS haha it was awesome....when I drink...I don't like to hold a drink in my hand and sip on it. I prefer downing it right there. so we did one Irish car bomb and literally a minute later, I stepped outside with everyone and everything started moving and jumping and yes....I was drunk already! Crazy right?! how is that even possible to be drunk a minute later??! because I never drink lolll I was bouncing everywhere by the time we did another irish car bomb. AHHH they're amazinggg...for anyone who don't know what they are, it consists:
1/2 cup of guinness beer
1/2 a shot of Jameson whiskey

10 things that make me happy:

1.my family-I love them to death. Without them, I wouldn't be who I am today. They've always been there for me, always supporting me, and they always know how to cheer me up.

2.my boyfriend. Honestly, I never thought i'd fall in love until I met him. It may sound super cheesy or cliché but he really does make me happy. I always laugh so much when i'm with him. Even on days when we do absolutely nothing and just sit at home all day watching movies or something i'm still having the greatest time of my life! just 3 days ago we celebrated our year and a half anniversary! we've been together since September 20, 2008 (:

3.Discovering new songs/MV and obsessing over it! Whenever I discover a new song I replay it over and over a million times! Right now, the song/MV i'm obsessing over is Super Junior's “Super Girl” I'm so in love it!!!! Han Kyung looks soo hot in it! Lol

4.traveling. I like exploring new places. One day, I'd really love to go to Japan. I enjoy traveling and experiencing new places and seeing the different lifestyles, and of course, the fashion.

5.Flowers. Looking at them make me so giddy! Haha I love flowers in general, but Hydrangeas and roses are my ABSOLUTE favorites (:

6.Thai tea. Yes. Drinking thai tea makes me happy as crazy as it sounds. I love it so much. I discovered it back in November and I haven't stopped drinking it! My University has a little boba tea vender and very often I pass it on my way to class and get one. It's absolute BLISS! It is seriously one of the most delicious drinks i've ever had. If you've never had it before then you're missing out! go try one! ^^

7.Sweets. I have the BIGGEST sweet tooth ever. I always like to snack on something sweet. Even when i've just finished a full meal i'll still want something sweet to eat (:

8.Autumn. It's my favorite season out of all four. It's the perfect weather-not hot.not cold. I love seeing the leaves turn orange and driving through a street and seeing a row full of trees with orange leaves...something about it just makes me so happy inside. I also love the fashion in the fall!

9. Feeling accomplished. Completing something, like studying for a test and doing well. I'm terrible at studying for a long time but once I push myself I can studying all night long.

10.Photography. I love looking at pictures. Any pictures really, but especially photos related to fashion and nature, or just everyday life. I love professional looking shots and pictures with bokeh effects.

NYX lipstick swatches!

It took me forever and a half but as promised, here are the NYX lipstick swatches! :) all of these swatches are purely only the lipstick. I did not add any lipgloss since I wanted you all to see its true color just in case any of you may want to buy it :)

Electra:

The perfect red I have been looking for! its goes on so creamy and lasts long.

Femme:

bright peachy orange. (Femme is alot more brighter than this in person-I don't know why it doesn't show in the pictures)

louisiana:

vibrant pink

Pumpkin Pie:

a very suttle orangey-nude color. looks natural and its very wearable-one of my favorites!

Another lovely red that is quite similar to Electra but has a slight difference.

NYX lippies haul!

NYX lippy haul! YAY! this is my very first NYX purchase and I must say, I'm VERY impressed with the lipsticks :) The lipsticks are very creamy, moisturizing, long lasting, and most importantly, pigmented and not at all drying-simply amazing!

So lets start off with the basics-I ordered these off of Cherry Culture. Cherryculture.com is a website that sells a variety of more lower end brands. I'm not too familiar with the site products because i've only ordered once from there, but I hear people talking about them and they all love it. It seems they always have some sort of sale going on and one happened to be going on when I made my purchase! :) so I got 12 lipsticks and 1 lipgloss. Each lipstick was $1.75 and they are originally $3.00 and they are actually still on sale so go check it out! The lipgloss was originally $3.00 and I got it for $2.00.

I've only used a couple lipsticks so far and have truly liked all of them so far. Normally, I don't wear lipstick besides the occasional amazing nude color Darling by Gosh. But lately, i've been finding myself picking up one of these lipsticks and applying it :)

The lipsticks have a floral scent when you smell the stick but once you apply it to your lips(which to me smells quite lovely!), it really has no smell.
As for the lipgloss, it is not at all sticky but I really don't like the smell. It has a ginger type smell to it, which I was never too fond of ginger in the first place.

I have been busy to the max! Had my first 3 exams within a 4 day span! after they were all complete, I headed straight to the mall and did some much needed retail therapy! Before this, I hadn't gone shopping in 2 looong months! anyway,hope you enjoy :)

Kiehl's lip balm #1 Review

I'd like to dedicate this whole post on Kiehl's lip balm # 1 and do a review.-so lets get started!

as said on its packaging, Kiehl's lip balm #1 temporarily protects and helps relieve chapped or cracked lips.

Before I discovered this balm, I was on an endless search for a good lip balm. I had terrible chapped lips no matter what I used. Until I used Kiehl's. Kiehl's was reccomened to me by my cousin when I told her about my terribly chapped lips. This lip balm provides complete moisture to my lips. As soon as I apply it I can feel it instantly begin to moisturize.Unlike other chapsticks/balms, this one provides moisture for quite some time. I usually apply it at night, and have smooth unchapped lips, not just for that whole day, but also a couple days after that. I don't have to constantly apply it to my lips through out the day-unlike other chapsticks. ie:Carmex. I used to be obsessed with Carmex. Yes, carmex was great but then I realized I had to constantly apply it through out the day and struggled to maintain moisturized lips. As soon as it left my lips, (which seemed quite quickly tbh) my lips would go right back to being quite chapped and dry, as if I hadn't applied any. I also heard that Carmex was putting some sort of chemical in there product to dry out your lips so that you'd have to constantly use carmex. Scary isn't it?

I have had it for 3 months now, and use it at least 4-5 times a week and it's still pretty full!

Ever since i've used this balm, I have not had a SINGLE DAY of chapped lips.♥♥

This lovely balm comes in 4 different flavors: Coconut, Mango, Cranberry, and Vanilla. Let me just say that they all smell wonderful! I have cranberry and its smells so amazing! I want to eat it everytime I apply it haha I bought mine at Nordstrom because they have a Kiehl's counter.

but besides all of its greatness, here are just a few cons:

-it looks quite glossy on your lips, just like lipgloss.(which isn't terrible if you just want sheer coverage when going out while at the same time, protects your lips from the wind.) which also means its probably not a good idea to apply lipstick over. Although its a bit glossy it is NOT at all sticky.

-the applicater. because it is not slanted, the product builds up after a few uses around the edge, which wastes some of product.

-a tad pricey for lip balm, but long lasting! Kiehl's lip balm is $9.00

I give it a 5/5 because I LOVE it! I would definitely reccommend this lip balm to everyone.

I've FINALLY found my HG lip balm. I'll never have to worry about chapped lips ever again♥

SNOW day in TEXAS! ...and i'm back!

Hello lovlies! im back!! :) so sorry i've been gone for so so long! I can't believe its been that long since my last post! anyway, I'm back now and I have many upcoming posts so please stick around :)

first off, let me say that it SNOWED all day long yesterday! we got about a total of 8 inches of snow! isn't that AMAZING?! YES :) I loooved it so much. I felt like a little kid who had just seen snow for the first time haha. I kept running outside and playing in it. it was so lovely. it was GORGEOUS of course. and all schools closed of course, including both Universities for two whole days so I get a 4 day weekend :)I know its just snow, but here, when it does snow, its a very big deal. Its like an extra holiday to us :) It doesn't snow too often here in Texas. Actually, we're lucky if we even get one inch a year. It usually snows every few years. But for some reason this past year, it has snowed TWICE already!(: anywho, here are some pictures of the lovely day:

A successful night of fun and craziness :) went out with my boyfriend and some friends to some parties but didn't really drink because all they were serving was beer eghh >.< but all in all it was a fun night. love costume parties :)

I think i'm finally getting into the hang of blogging more often now :)

went shopping looking for nothing specific and had one of those 'didn't buy much but so satisfied with what I got' :) I looove everything I got and I seriously can't wait until I can wear them!

I tried fake tanning awhile back but lets just say it didn't work out so well....but I got the Jergens natural glow that gradually tans my skin so hopefully it will work in time! I tried to look for a certain pair of eyelashes but sadly, I didn't. so i'm really excited for Halloween! I have lotsss of house parties to go to :D don't worry, i'll take millions of pictures and post some :)

Review:Stila Finishing powder

yes, this has been long over-due as I promised I would do a review on it awhile back and got a request for it so here it goes: :)

I got the gold finishing powder which is said to be a light golden champagne sheen.
As said on the site, Stila's finishing powder "Keeps your skin looking radiant with these velvety, light-reflecting powders. and is a "Luminous shimmer powder for the face."

true, it does illuminate your face and is a gorgeous light goddessy gold but honestly I wouldn't use it to set my make-up-at least not all over my face. Because it has tiny flecks of gold/shimmer in it,I wouldn't reccomend putting this all over your face because its too shimmery to put all over the face and won't look natural. Although its not super shimmery like MAC's mineralize skin finishes (I don't think anything will be that shimmery!) it still does have shimmer flecks in it. Don't get me wrong, because I do love this product and use it everyday-but not to set my make-up. I use it as a highlight right above my cheekbones and it works perfectly. It gives me a really nice glow and can be used at anytime of the day whether youre getting ready for work,school,or even a night out!

but if you're looking for a good setting powder, I definitely reccommend getting a MATTE one. I am using NARS loose setting powder and let me just say that I looove it! I use it every single day to set my foundation/tinted moisturizer. And in this care the saying really is true about "A little goes a long way" you just need the tiniest amount to set your make up. I love using the fan brush to do this. I tap some of the powder into the cap and I dab my fan brush into it and tap the excess off and just lightly go all over my face and it sets beautifully! Its a black squared box and has ALOTTT of product in it. I bought this more than 10 months ago and I still have so much and looks like I barely touched it but I use it everyday.

So if you are contemplating on getting the Stila finishing powder to set your foundation, then I don't reccommend getting it because I think you will be unnsatisfied. but DO try out the NARS setting powder :) because Stila's retails for $32 and for 2$ more you can get the NARS one for only $34!

you will be hearing alot about fall and related things of course so think of it as a 'fall series' that i'm doing :) such as NECESSITIES for the fall! another must-have for this wonderful season is a leather jacket!!

I tell you, I think I have an obession with leather jackts, because everytime I see one...I WANT IT! haha but anyway right now I only have 2 in my collection. The first one is from H&M. I got this number when I went to California over the summer break and now I finally get to wear it because it's cold enough! YAY. and not only is it good for fall, its good for winter too of course!

Black leather moto-jacket.this one was $50 and I got the last one at the store! unfortunately it's just one size too big for me =/ BUT its perfect when I want to wear some layers :)

deep chocolate brown faux leather jacket! this one was about $33 at forever21. I got this just last week so I haven't had a chance to wear it yet :)

Hii guys! I hope you all haven't completely forgotten about me! I know I said I would start posting again but I haven't been able to manage this and school! life is hectic and stressful! and I use my free time to go out BUT I really want to start blogging again so I will try my very best to find some time to start back up! I hate that I have been away so long! I miss blogging but my studies and illness have kept me away :( for the past week I have been insanely sick. I thought it was swine flu so I freaked out and finally went to the doctors today. Thankfully its not the swine flu though. I have a respiratory infection combined with horrible alleriges so thats still not good. I'm medicated up the whazoooo so don't mind my crazy ramblings.

These are some of Stila's great products so I suggest you go to www.sephora.com and order one now because I'm pretty sure that they are going to take the offer down soon! :)

A new haul and a new OBSESSION!♥

yes yes its another haul video Im sorry haha but I went shopping the other day and just HAD to show you what I got because I am SO IN LOVE with everything I got, even though I didn't get very many things. It's just one of those shopping days where you only get a few things but you're so so happy and satisfied with what you got. know what I'm talking about? haha well anyway, I'll just show you all and explain on the way :)

FIRST I went to Sephora! ahh one of my loves. I can never resist you.
Ok so I am sooo excited about what I got because I stood in Sephora trying it on a million times to see if I should get it. I had a hard time deciding whether or not to get them because I was planning on going to MAC first and getting some lipsticks. but then I tried these on and just could not resist buying them. I also had a hard time choosing between these because they're both so lovely and they seemed quite similar so I just bought both and I am so happy I did!

♥♥Benefit's silky finish lipstick-I am so in love with these lipsticks, no kidding! and true to their words, they really are silky smooth. They're so soft and creamy-not at all drying-super smooth-amazing color-& shiny. oh my, I just don't know what more to say besides RUN OUT AND GET THEM NOW!! :) seriously. you are missing out if you have never owned one of these lipsticks.
but the ONLY downside to these lipsticks are the price. They come in at $18.00 a piece. which is more expensive than MAC's lippies. but you get really great packaging made of metal and it super nice and cute. overall it is so worth it and I'll definitely be purchasing alot more.

Hii everyone!

im really sorry for the lack of posts lately but i've been so busy and stressed lately. I am going to California soon and have not even begun packing yet! and I also found out that I don't get back until 3 days after school has started! oyyy. yes. I booked a flight and mistakenly booked it for a later time. SO I had to book ANOTHER ticket-a one-way- back here costing me around $200! :( I couldn't just change my flight because if I did, then that would cost me about 300-400$ which makes absolutely NO sense since my ticket was cheaper than that! ughh.

but anyway! I went to the mall the other day and picked up a few items from Forever21 for my trip to Cali♥

TEENY tiny MAC haul

Hello lovelies

So i've been eyeing MAC's colour crafted collection ever since I heard about it. The other day, I planned to go pick up some items from the collection since I was already near the mall but turns out I had no time to go because I was visiting family! WELL. by the end of the day, when we were leaving, I realized we still had half an hour before the mall closed! so we quickly sped to the mall and ran to MAC! haha by the time we got there, there was only about 15 minutes before they closed so I didn't have anytime to look around so I went straight to the collection and grabbed two things! I really wanted to look at their whole collection but there was just no time. anywho, I grabbed the MSF trio in triple fusion and Mineralize blush in Improvise-swatched them and loved them :) I completely forgot to grab smooth merge and Porcelain pink :( sad sad. I'll have to go back soon and get them before they're all gone! I did ask if they had the colour crafted lipstick but sadly they were out, just as I suspected...

Mineralize blush-Improvise
This GORGEOUS blush is a corally-peach color with white/yellow and gold veining.
I love this blush because it compliments my skin tone very well. I have light skin so when I apply this, all i need to do is barely brush my brush over this blush and lightly apply it to the apples of my cheeks. The shimmer gives me a very nice warm peach/coral glow, which is what I have always wanted!♥

this MSF trio has 3 shades in this. The very top shade is described as a nice champaigne gold color. The middle color is a bronzey pink color and the very last, which is on the bottom, is a rosy pink with gold in it.

For this, I lightly dab my brush in all three shades, but mainly getting more of the top shade (the light gold color) and apply it right above my cheek bones and it highlights amazingly. I then use the last two darker colors as a bronzer/blush for that sun kissed look :)

*If you don't already have any of the MSFs or mineralize blushes then I suggest you RUN out and get one ASAP before it's too late :)

Overall, I am so so happy with what I got! I'm really loving these and will definitely be purchasing more in other colors too♥

my HG moisturizer and eye makeup remover

Hello all! just a quick post to show you my moisturizer and eye make up remove that I use!

GNC Aloe Vera moisturizer: Everyday, I moisturize my face because I tend to have dry skin, but lately not so much during the summer so I can go without it sometimes. BUT during the winter time, it's an absolute MUST. during winter my face gets extremely dry so I must moisturize every night and before I apply make up. I first discovered this a few years ago and ever since, i've been hooked. I get this moisturizer at my local GNC and can't seem to find it anywhere else. It is also a VERY affordable price at only abou $3. crazy cheap right? I also have sensitive skin so this seems to be the only moisturizer that my face can take so far and I don't plan on changing moisturizers anytime soon :)

Lancome Bi-facial Eye makeup remover: In december of last year, I went on Vacation in Vietnam and happened to find this glorious product. Before I discovered this, I had been searching so long to look for the perfect eye make up remover that actually REMOVED the makeup(such as the eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, etc.) the products I tried before never seemed to work. It was either way too oily or did not do its job. Until I found this. It is so much less oily than others (even thought its just a tiny bit oily, its nothing too bad!) and removes ALL of the eye-makeup. It easily removes it without having to put alot of pressure onto the eye to actually get the make up off. All you have to do it just gently swipe it across your eye a few times and it removes all of the eye make up :) and for $26 you get a 4.2 ounce bottle that lasts a very long time! now I've had this for about 8 months and i have 1/4 left only , but that is because I share this with my sister! so this should last you a very very long time :) I really highly reccommend this product.

ok, and now for my haullll!

this haul consists of many different places so let me just go along and tell you a bit about it and where I purchased it :)

Revlon's colorstay eyeliner in black: to me, this is the most amazing eyeliner ever. it's definitely my HG eyeliner. I have used this eyeliner brand for over 3 years now. I've searched and searched through high end brands to see if there is a better one but I always seem to go back to this one. It goes on really easy and lasts foor a very long time. each stick is about $7-8 depending on where you get it but right now, they are doing a 2 for 1 special so go out and get one! :)

Left:GOSH darling velvet touch lipstick in #134: it FINALLY cameee! I have been searching and searching for this product for awhile and I finally got my hands on it :) If you really like the nude lips look I definitely reccommend this. its very moisturizing so it doesn't dry out my lips and the color is amazing. The only downsides to this lipstick is that I had to pay a total of $20 and it is hard to get your hands on because they only sell it in the U.K! I got mine off of ebay and made sure it was completely brand new and sealed and it was :)

Right:Revlon's super lustrous lipstick creme collection in Pink in the Afternoon:this color is so pretty! its a dull pink and nice and creamy. not drying at all! this color is really nice for people with pale skin :)

Eyelashes from Hmart in a shseido store for $4. these are really dramatic looking eyelashes. even though they look a bit crazy I just had to have them.and I'm glad I bought it! when I put them on they look gorgeous and makes my lashes look so full.

Sonia Kashuk's fibre highlighting brush: as you can see, I've already used it! haha sorry about that. I use this to apply my blush so that's why it is pink! this brush is so soft and works very nicely. I definitely reccomend this. I love Sonia Kashuk tools!
Studio tools blending brush: I love love love this brush. It is definitely one of my new favorites and is used every day. I use this to create the smokey eye look and it works wonders! its also very soft! I love studio tools. their brushes are always so great!

yellow double headband from Forever21. I got this for a great deal and I'm loving it! this is my first double headband so I'm happy about this purchase :)

John Freida's Heat Defeat-a few weeks ago, I cut off the very ends of my hair because they were so damaged unfortunately. I had so many split ends and my hair broke off so easily. I know it is because I blow-dry my hair and straighten my ends just about everyday without using any kind of heat protectant! so I got this and spray it into my damp hair before blowdrying and straightening my hair. It works really great and doesn't smell bad or weight down my hair at all.

Forever21 dress: this top is really bohemian-like and not usually my style at all, but for some reason this top really stood out so I had to have it. hopefully it will look great on! :)

I got this LOVELY blush from Sephora by a brand called The Balm and the blush is called HotMama! lol I got it because it reminded me so much of NARS' Orgasm or Deep throat blush?? and i've seriously been wanting to try the NARS one but always forget or end up changing my mind! and also, because I've never seen this brand. Nars blushes run for $25 but I got this one for $19 so it was $6 cheaper than NARS and its the same size! great buy right?! Im loving ittt.

picked up these shimmer cube eyeshadows from the body shop. theyre so nicely pigmented and shimmery-I haven't really had a chance to use them yet but I'm really liking it! I will do a review on this soon! it comes in a square plastic box and when you open it, each shimmer cube is in its own little plastic cube to avoid messes.

I finally tried Laura Mercier's tinted moisturizer! oh this stuff is sooo AMAZING! its really great because I don't need much coverage so this is the perfect product for me! -(I wouldn't recommend this product for anyone who needs full coverage because it won't due that) its soo lightweight on my face and feels as if nothing is there. there's also no smell so that's good. it's tad pricey for just tinted moisturizer but its definitely worth it! My color that I use is in 'Nude' this color works great for me in the summer time but I may switch to the color Porcelain when the winter time comes around because I tend to get a bit lighter. I also got the foundation primer and it goes great with it.

After I apply moisturizer, primer and the tinted moisturizer, I apply this NARS loose setting powder. It goes on great and looks so nice! I'm really loving this. The color is called 'Desert' I think. I'm so glad I found use for this!

Evian water face mist with minerals. just spray this on your face when you're hot and or sweaty and it instantly cools you down! it also sets your makeup so thats a bonus :)

silver studded flip flops- super cute and got them for a pretty good deal!

POP day to play eyeshadow palette. Haven't had a chance to play around with this yet but all the colors look lovely!

ViVi Magazine-oh this mag is AMAZING! its super thick and sooo so cute! definitely great for outfit inspirations-I'll def. be getting more :)

I decided to start using a heat protectant spray-Im using Beyond the Zone? heat protectant. smells really fruity!

before I began to use Laura mercier's tinted moisturizer, I had been using benefit's you rebel in lite. It felt kind of heavy on my face and they only have two different shades so as you can imagine, it didn't really match my skin tone. It was also a bit greasy since its not oil free. I also stopped using this because there was a point where my skin would get irritated and get red and itchy so I stopped using all products at the time. but im pretty sure this contributed to what made me break out! but I'm not sure so don't take my word for it but I won't be risking it by using this ever again. so that's why I don't like this product. The only good thing about this is that it has a nice smell to it. some people like it, and others don't.

MAC haul

Hello all! :)just a quick post!
So as you all know, MAC is a really popular make-up brand and happens to be one of my favorites as of not too long ago! So, in my devotion to MAC, I thought I should begin my collection! so my MAC package finally came in the mail! I was super happy when I saw the UPS guy come to the door! YAY C:

I browsed the net to see what some popular mac shadows were and these seemed to win. All the colors are really nice and pretty-nothing crazy-so i think I'll enjoy this palette. I'll do a review and swatch them soon!

I'm really excited to play with all of these colors. Every single one of them are very pigmented and lovely. Although i'm loving my new palette, my purse is anorexic now >.< this purchase was a whopping $120. What I suggest is, if you are going to start a mac palette, make sure they are colors that you really like and know you will use a lot because each shadow is $11. It's quite pricey but I think it's well worth it because it will last me a very long time :)

next up, Im really dying to try the Colour Craft Collection! I know I know, I'm so behind on this collection, but everything looks absolutely GORGEOUS! I really want to get some MSF trios and Mineralize blushes! must get my hands on them before they're all gone eeek!

Update and mini haul!

hello everyone!

I've been kind of busy lately so I haven’t been able to blog daily! yesterday was one of my cousin's birthday! so we went out to celebrate and ate at Red Lobster and had a massive feast! oh my there was so much food and all so delish! and today I went to go hangout with my cousin with my sis today. It was so much fun! We went out for frozen yogurt and took purikuras! its like a ritual for the summer since she's leaving to go to Italy for about 4 months to study abroad.-every week we go down to see her and we shop, get frozen yogurt and take purikuras :) It was a blast to just talk and shop! : ) I bought a few things today that I’ll show you all soon! : )
but enough of my ramblings!

I did some shopping! ::::

what I got:
2 Pearl Revlon lipsticks
BB Magic Cream

Japanese hair holder
Miss Rose 24 wet shimmer shadows
28 Neutrals palette

when I ordered the neutrals palette, they were kind enough to throw this in :) and it was amazing! leaves my hair crease-less. and I have problems with my hair creasing very easily so i love this!

this palette is really wonderful-very pigmented and shimmery.

the colors are really beautiful but they leave my lips quite chapped >.< but I think if I pair it with some chapstick is will be ok :) I can't seem to remember the names,but it's number 405 and 428 in the pearl collection, as you can see.

this palette is ok, I was expecting alot better but don't get me wrong, the color pay off is very nice.

I had very high expectations for this, but sadly in the end I did not like it too much. The color was too dark for my face, and it feels a bit heavy on my face. Im hoping it is different from other bb creams though so I will have to try out another kind.

anway, that's my mini haul-its not much but I just though I'd share with you all :)
I'll do a more detailed review on some of these when I get a chance.

Also, I've ordered some more things on the net that is on their way here! so that will be a surprise for later :)

make-up review and pictures

hello loves!

ok so as promised, I'm going to do a make up review. All of these products will be on what I like, don't like, what I will be continuing to purchase-and never be purchasing again!
also, some pictures of me with my make up that I use! and the first:

this is me, just simple me. as you can see, I don't wear heavy make-up. unless you count the eyes =P but other than my eyes, I didn't wear any other kind of make-up on my skin-like foundation, powder, blush, bronze in this picture.

I used to wear alot, well not alot, but yes I did wear powders and lots of diff. bronzers, blushes, and all of that stuff, but eventually it took a toll on my skin! I have sensitive skin and after a months and months, even years, of using all of that my face started to react to some of the products which im not sure which ones! but my face was starting to slowly break out and get splotchy, so I completely stopped using everything but eye make up and my face finally cleared almost all up after taking care of my skin. as of now, everything has cleared up and my skin is back to normal thank goodness!

enough babble! here are some products I use(d):

benefit's ooh la lift:I use this along with my other under eye concealer and it works wonders! I tend to have bad under eye circles and this helps so much-I love it!

Sephora's beige gloss-I can't remember the actual name. this gloss is lovely-smells really nice and isnt sticky. this also doesn't make my lips chapped either, so I def. recommend this.

Benefit's High Beam: used to brighten up your cheeks with a light shimmery pink for a dewy look. I put this on top of my blush when I go out at night.

Benefit's get even: I honestly don't like this at all. It really doesn't do much for me at all except make me look cakey. I wouldn't buy again. also wouldn't recommend for those who have dry skin like me.

Urban Decay's book of shadows: My absolute favorite palette! I love love to use perversion for a nice smokey eye and it works great. the color payoff for all of it is amazing! I definitely recommend this palette! and for a great deal too! I think mine was a total of $50 for 16 shadows. amazing deal isnt it? :) the only down sides to this palette is the shadows that have glitter in them. When applying the glittery eyeshadows to the eye, most of the glitter ends up everywhere on my face! but no worries as you can just take your fan brush and brush it all off. also, I've heard that this palette is really hard to get your hands on now. I got mine during the christmas time and it was a limited edition at sephora. but im sure if you search hard enough, you can find it. :)

Revlon's colorstay 12hr shadow: The only drugstore brand that I really use is Revlon. they have so many wonderful products that I love, and this happens to be one of them. the eyeshadows really do stay on all day long and the colors are very pigmented.

Urban Decay Shadows: another palette with less colors. this palette was around $35? and you get 10 shadows. this was also a good buy but you really don't need this one if you already have the book of shadows.

Benefit's Georgia Peach: This smells so good! but sadly, the color is too light for me. I have to apply it about 3 times just to barely see it.

Benefit's boi-ing. I don't seem to like this too much. it makes my under eye circles look darker, ironically! its also a bit drying so thats a no go. wont be purchasing again.
NARS loose setting powder:sets your foundation well, but you have to be careful with how much you put on. a little goes a long way in this case and if you put more than needed, you will start to look cakey. but otherwise, I like this product.

LORAC perfectly lit luminizing powder: this powder, wow. lets just say I wont be purchasing again! when I first put it on, I was hoping for that natural glow, but no. this made me look like a disco ball. i was super shiny and it was just horrid. I barely put any on and yet it looked like I piled it on. I tried working with it but now matter what I tried, it still looked horrible. now this may be because the make-up artist at sephora gave me the wrong color. Im not sure but I won't take anymore chances. especially since the price is at $32.

of these mascaras I really love the lash blast. this is my HG mascara. I always go back to this. never clumps for me and is never too thick. I love it. the others did not do much for me. they were quite clumpy? probably will not be purchasing again, even though those are not the worste mascaras I have tried.

Benefit's You rebel in lite: this tinted moisturizer only comes in 2 colors. dark and lite. so naturally, this does not really my skintone. this product is ok but I wont be purchasing again.it was too greasy after I applied it. and I think this is what may have made me break out before. yikes! the only good thing about it is that it has spf15 and a really nice smell.

That gal face brightener: I used to love this. but then I realized that it really didnt do much for me? I also stopped using this because I was afraid that this might have also broke me out.

Smashbox's Camera Ready Full Coverage Foundation: This stuff is greattt! it has SPF 15 and really does give full coverage. it was a bit on the pricey side but worth it! i didnt used this daily because I dont need much coverage, so I used it on nights that I went out. really gives that nice flawless look. but beware:if you have dry skin, be sure to moisturize before applying this because you will have dry patches! but other than that I love this stuff!-as you can see because I used it all! ha.

punk rock dress-came with the studded belt-I like the fluff. not sure where I can wear this to though? maybe a nice outting to dinner w/ bf heh :)

this bathing suit(mokini i think its called?)....SO HOTTT =D haha I had to have it! its so cute! I usually HATE one piece bathing suits, but this one is really cute on and it shows off the hips-like all of your side-and the back.

stopped by sephora, but didn't have time so just grabbed these really quick:

I just got a new eye lash curler and two different kinds of sephora's eyeliner-a water proof one and a more smokey one.-so far I'm really liking all of it.

then I stopped by HMART! and YOGURTLAND! omg I love those places. I want to go there like allllll the time! but I didn't have time for purikuras...I was really sad about that :( but next time!

and I got some blue circle lenses: (sorry this was at the end of the day, haha so my eyes look worn out and make up rubbed off =P)

definitely going to get some more! I want the black, purple, seagreen, and a light blue!

its almost 4 a.m. now! >.< getting a bit tired! but lately i've been staying up until 4:30 am?! yah, crazy I know, here's the story: the other day my cousin introduced me to this REALLY good new show. its a murder mystery, and in every episode someone dies-like the main characters! crazy right? well theres only going to be 1 season I think and theres 13 episodes and in the last episode everything will be revealed like who the killer is. im so obsessed with it- you'll like it even if you don't like murder myster suspense shows. trust me. go watch it! :) hehe so yah, I ended up staying up til around 4 watching it! and now my sleeping schedule is off and I'm trying to get it back on schedule so that I can be ready for summer school to start, which starts on Tuesday! ahh =S a bit queezy about it starting but sometimes I have alot of time on my hands so its something to do! ok well that's it for now!

ok, so here's a little smidget about me!
I'm currently nineteen years old, full vietnamese, I have a lovely boyfriend of 10 months whom I love very much!, I have a very bubbly personality-im a laugher, I like to laugh alot, and I'm going into my second year of college in a few weeks at a local university! I'd like to major in fashion. not quite sure what I'd like to do with it but I know it's something I want to pursue. :) I LOVE fashion- anything that has to do with it-I love reading about it, watching it, just anything really! I'd like to learn how to sew and make my own clothes and learn to draw because that will really help out ALOT. I'm obsessed with shopping. I shop alot and If I could, I would shop everydayyy : ) my absolute faaaavorite store to shop at is Forever21. I love it because there's a huge variety of style. Chic, punk, classy, dressy, preppy, -anything you could think of-for a really good deal! I love clothes, shoes, jewelry, and make-up like any other girl but x100000 :) I like to dress the way I want-I have alot of different styles. my other favorite store is Sephora. that's where I get all of my make up! but anyway, enough of that!
